MANILA — CCWI Chairman/President Carlo Batalla, Ph.D. confirmed receiving an official communication from the Office of the Ombudsman concerning CCWI’s ongoing oversight activities involving the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor).

CCWI welcomed the communication as an important step toward clarity, transparency, and accountability in its continuing public-interest monitoring.
